facebook is the new campfire around which we gather, but we should not forget other sources of light.

it is time to start talking about what Canadian textile and fibre art means to us. if we don't document and discuss what is currently happening, how will it go down in history. so here is a question, did a grand mother or grand father teach you how to sew or knit? who where they and how did sewing or knitting fit into their lives. I think stories about grandmothers need to be told.
